Sheridan Reid

Reid is currently a student in the San Jose State University iSchool MLIS program. She is set to graduate at the end of 2020. She has had over sixteen years of volunteer experience in libraries throughout which she has presented puppet shows and storytimes, assisted in numerous programs to include storytelling and leadership camps. In more recent years, she has presented and helped run adult workshops centered on working with children. She has worked as for the YMCA as both a Group Leader and a Site Director specializing in programming for the children attending the program. She currently works as a Kindergarten aide where she focuses on assisting children in building skills. Reid has grown up researching through various means, though uses primarily the internet and popular sources for every day information. With the internet widely available the majority of her life, she has a unique view of the importance of search and how it has changed in the recent years.
