Susan Chesley Perry is the Head of Digital Initiatives at the UC Santa Cruz University Library.  After running the library media center and working reference services, she now coordinates the development and maintenance of the library's unique and locally-created digital resources. Her department provides stewardship of digital materials through the digitization and capture, management, access and discovery, and preservation life cycle.  Perry holds an MA in Library and Information Studies and a BA in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin.
