Nic provides library liaisonship for Business & Trades Programs; site administration for Pressbooks, LinkedIn Learning, and other library resources; OER aggregation; oversight to cataloging and processing of resources; and editing and attribution tasks related to the Open RN project. A professional wearer of all the hats, Nic holds an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is the current chair of the Technical Services Section of the Wisconsin Library Association. Nic was an adjunct faculty for the Library and Information Services associate degree program at Chippewa Valley Technical College.

Nic is also a licensed alternative care provider for Eau Claire County and Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS), a member of several local and state committees, a disc golfer, an avid supporter of the arts, and a voice for shifting perspectives related to addiction, mental health, and those impacted by trauma. Nic recently co-facilitated faculty informational sessions on Trauma-Informed Pedogogy.
