Amy Vecchione is an Associate Professor and Head of the Web and Emerging Technologies Team at Boise State University. Amy is the current Maker In Residence at Trailhead Boise and the President of the Idaho Library Association. Amy teaches a course that is a vertically integrated project called the Make It VIP where the students run the makerspaces. This year she visited the White House with Make Schools to talk about diversity and inclusion in makerspaces. Amy is interested in emerging technologies, experimental collaborations, mobile learning, and information literacy instruction.
