Charlotte Spinner

Charlotte Spinner has a 29-year history in the information industry, starting with twelve years at the American Psychological Association as a database analyst/developer, where she established production systems and helped to enhance and promote the PsycINFO database. In 1999 she founded her own consulting business offering a range of database and web services, including enhancements to the AgeLine database at AARP. She is currently an Information Architecture Analyst at AARP, developing and supporting the databases, catalogs and other systems maintained by the AARP Library and Research Center. Charlotte has spoken and conducted workshops at several professional conferences, including Information Today and the DC Chapter of the Special Libraries Association. Her specialties are untangling messy, thorny data situations and managing complex projects.
