Dan Lou

Senior Librarian
Palo Alto City Library

Dan Lou is a senior librarian at Palo Alto City Library, where she works on web content management and develops pioneering programs on robot, coding, AR content creation and distributed web. 

Before that, she spent four years as a Technical Project Manager at Wolfram Alpha, a knowlegebase queried by Apple Siri and Amazon Alexa. She also worked as a Systems Librarian at Innovative Interfaces for almost three years. Her particular interests include python, web technologies, and data analytics.

She received her MLIS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her BA in Journalism from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
