Kimberly Moore

Head Librarian, Digital Literacy and 3D Design Teacher
University of North Texas Adjunct Professor
All Saints Episcopal School, Fort Worth, Texas

I have been a Librarian with All Saints' Episcopal School in Fort Worth for 19 years and in the classroom 8 years teaching a required Digital Literacy course. My students build a website on a topic of their choice filling it with online research and free Web 2.0 products. I also teach a 3D Design elective course.

In my professional development journey as a librarian, I found myself drawn to how digital tools can be used to engage students and to help ease classroom instruction and management for teachers. I am now the go-to tech integration specialist for professional development instruction on all web tools used in instruction at All Saints' K-12, most recently in Google Apps.

As a Faculty Adjunct in Information Science at University of North Texas the last 10 years, I also hope to impact future Librarians' skill set to harness the power of the Internet to improve future library services and classrooms. I teach Digital Youth, Library Buildings and Spaces, Online Content for Youth Services, and Literature for Young Adults. My areas of expertise include digital youth, digital tools for education, and information-seeking habits of youth.

I have presented at ISTE, TCEA, and KIPA (Knowledge and Information Professional Association) conferences.
