Michael Russell

Michael Russell has been a high school educator for more than a decade. Michael worked at the Lee's Summit High School library in Missouri for six years before transferring to the Lee's Summit North library in 2013. Michael has an Ed.S in human resources and technology, a Master of Arts in Teaching, and a Bachelor of Journalism. Michael works daily with high school teachers to find more effective ways to teach students using technology and the internet. Michael's research, Bring your own technology and one-to-one initiatives in Missouri schools in 2012, looked at how quickly rural, suburban, and urban schools were integrating student-owned technologies as well as educator perceptions of student-owned mobile devices.
