Lori Bowen Ayre is a library technology consultant with expertise in materials handling, RFID, and library logistics. She founded the Galecia Group in 2000 and has been consulting with libraries, consortia, and entire states in these areas. Lori also contributes regularly to several library journals and is on the Editorial Board of both Public Library Quarterly and Collaborative Librarianship.  The Galecia Group has expanded into other consulting areas in recent years including developing and supporting an affordable summer reading platform, BookPoints, and offering a range of services in the areas of civic technology.
