Steve Alcalde is the Reference and Technology Librarian at Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton, New York. For the past five years he has fostered RML's technology initiative and programming into the talk of the East End's entire library technology community. He was also recently elected by his peers to the position of Vice President/President-Elect of the Suffolk County Library Association (SCLA), Long Island's largest professional development system for librarians.
