Fabio Montella is an Assistant Professor of Library Services and an adjunct Professor of History at Suffolk County Community College. He has been a lead contributor to the creation of the library's virtual reality lab and has continued to ensure its success. He holds an MLIS from Long Island University, an MA in History from Stony Brook University and is currently working towards an MA in Learning and Emerging Technologies from SUNY Empire State College. Fabio's areas of focus include information literacy as a means to combat misinformation in the digital age, and a historical study of the bolstering of imagined communities through sports organizations.
