With 20 years of experience at the San Diego Public Library, Catherine has become an integral leader in the systemwide development and implementation of the Library IDEA Labs; makerspaces. Catherine now manages the Public Technology Services Department, which supports the building of new makerspaces, circulation of technology devices, virtual reference services, and overseeing the Library’s website. Her newest charge includes serving on the City’s Digital Equity Working group who’s focus is on closing the Digital Divide through their SD Access 4 All program.
