Ruth A Pagell has been writing and speaking extensively about a variety of library and information topics for decades all over the world. After creating the Li KA Shing Library at Singapore Management University, she settled in Hawaii where she is an emeritus faculty librarian at Emory University. Her current project is a monthly column, Ruth’s Rankings, about higher education, university rankings, and bibliometrics.  This is her first return to Internet Librarian in over 20 years.
